A big room of a spoons with a chandalier. Quite poor on the ale front, had ruddles, doom bar and abbot and Live and Let Rye by Elland, Golden by bradford brewery and Beyond the pale by Elland. Went for live and let rye by Elland, good beer at 2.15 pint and well kept. Quite a comfortable spoons, similar to the Cherry Tree, (cherry tree had a better selection). Not a bad spoons if you fancy a visit.

Only redeeming feature is a couple of real ales but they tend to stick to the usual Abbot and Ruddles rubbish. The Leeds bitter was fine.
Less character than an airport departure lounge, loud music, fat rough birds trying to dance. Walk on past.

What a sh*thole. Really dark inside and full of charvers. Beer was rank. Avoid at all costs.

Now called "The Lord Wilson". Hopefully the name change will give it the kick up the arse it needs. Used to be an ok pub, now is probably one of the few pubs in town that I try to avoid, surley staff, grotty and dark inside.

Horrid! Stinks of piss and puke!

Chav Central, crap food, decor like a bingo hall

Yeah the drinks are cheap but the atmosphere is tense, its always dark and dingy and the customers seem rough as hell. Not a personal favourite!

Now has Sky sports. Ale range and quality has been poor of late.

Very dark, bar-style pub with plasma screens (no Sky sports though). So loud, it can be difficult for the barstaff to hear your order. It's redeeming features are the reasonable prices and the choice of ales - no mean feat considering all the other pubs / bars in the immediate vicinity offer neither of these.
