Hard one to call, they seemed to get rid of a lot of the prats but now half of them seem to be back. I know this is a hard pub to run but I think they will have to lot firmer with people. I was in the other day and some geezer was asked to leave about 20 times and when I left about an hour later he was still there. Out has got to be out and now, not when the idiot feels like. Pub is now in the balance, could go either way.

I was optimistic when the girl from the Eddie took over this place that it would work. For a few weeks probably months there was a marked improvement. Lot of the half wit chavs were slung out and things got much better. I was in last weekend and it seems all the riff raff who were barred are back again. I was outside having a fag and all the conversations were about stabbing someone with a screwdriver and punching peoples lights out. I didnt actually see any trouble but it felt that it was never far off. This could be a real good pub but I think the management has got to be a bit tougher with the tossers and when they bar them do it for a long time, like forever would be good. Good pub to see music but watch your back.

I've been going to the boundary since Lou took it over in december and cannot recommend it highly enough! excellent sunday lunch, the real ale is kept well (I've been a camra member for 12 years and i know the difference!), friendy staff and decent events/bands! also over 3,500 raised for charity this year by the regulars!

I know the pub has a reputation,(more than 5 different landlords in 2 years before Lou took it over) but she knows how to run a pub and many bikers drink there now and this has helped calm down the chav element, some "chav" like folks drink there but they're the decent sort and are not the kind of folks to start trouble!

If you're in norwich come and visit, you'll be made welcome!

Called in last Friday and seemed to have been a big imp rovement, but on the other hand it couldn't really have got much worse. looks like a lot of the dense chav brigade have been chucked out, not before time. Band was good. If it stays like this I can see me and my friends using it more often.

What a transformation. I have lived in the locale for 5 years now and used to frequent the Boundary on a regular basis, however changes of licencees and patrons deterred me from visiting and I changed hostelries.

However, I was advised by a friend that there had been a change of Licencee, and things were looking up. On my first visit I was made to feel welcome and felt as if I had known these people (Lou & Mac) for years, it was as if I had never been way. The beer is kept perfect, the bar room banter is excellent, this is just a nice place to meet and drimk. So if you've been away for a while it is well worth a look.

Probably used to be a nice place years ago, certainly had a lot of money spent on it on a refurb but its a dump! Full of chavy types with red faces(full of stella) smelling of cannabis and on the edge of trouble, a very bad atmosphere too. Pity but there you go.

Just read the last review, whatever money has been spent on this place was a waste of time. Was in last saturday night. Place just full and thick chavs, burberry everywhere. Or shaven headed half witts. The quicker this shit hole gets closed down the better. Everyone effing and blinding, didn't see a punch up but I doubt it would have been long comming. One young girl behind the bar who didn't have a clue. No bouncers no door control. Sign says no under 18s after 7 and there was a kid in who was about six. What a dump, I was with two other girls, we had two drinks in there 'cos we couldn't beieve just how shit it was.

Been through changing fortunes over the years, been a ggod pub, been a bad pub. Until recently full of dodgy red faced stella drinkers. Polciy about no caps and everyone in the place wearing a cap. If your gonna have rules then at least stick to them. Under new management again for the umpteenth time let's hope they make a better job. Was in there a week or so ago and it seems some what improved. Decor wise the leasing company has spent thousands on doing it up. Sadly they may not have spent thousands on sorting it out. I'll give it bebefit of the doubt and keep popping in. The new people deserve some support if they genuinely want to make this a decent pub.
