Someone help me out here. Was this place called Leeks in the late 80's and early 90's?

I worked on Old Jewry for 4 years with An Irish bank next door to this pub. We knew it as Jacks bar, after the then landlord.
Jack left in 1999 I think and a brazilian lady ( Leona) took over.
Both landlord and landlady looked after us so well while we frequented this bar. I remeber one of the highlights been the night Sue Polard joined us all for a drink. We formed a darts team out of this pub, called the exiles and we participated in the Smithfields Darts League for two years. Food was provided by the bar when we played host to the other teams. I love this bar and have extremely fond memories of the people I met and drank with here. It was and I am sure still is the "cheers" bar of the square mile. I still preferrd it before they ripped the carpet up though!!
Hello to Marco, Mikey, Oz and the rest of the crew.

P.S does anyone know what happend to that great character Michael ( The German Barman) who introduced Sue to us?

This used to be a good pub until this year. Now it has been taken over by a landlord (manager obo Greene King) who doesn't care. He stands at the bar reading a paper while the non-English speaking Czech girl does all the work. It used to be a darts venue but the board has got so old you can't get the darts to stick in these days.

A cosy pub in the sterile city under Browns, serving food (beef and guiness pie with champ, sausage and champ, lasagne, chilli, various bagettes and panini).
There is a dart board and it shows sport.
Beer served includes Guinness (surprise), Abbot Ale and Fosters.
