To Cider - Good! As a user of a number of traditional "locals" pubs I am amazed that people think it accpetable to go somewhere watch the TV for 2 hours and buy 1 or 2 pints then leave as soon as the game is finished. It is a place of business not a charity or a church hall. The people who do this are inevitably those who get right in front of the TV getting the best view while those who spend money in the establishment cannot see properly. If you want to watch TV and not spend money stay at home. I like this pub as it is friendly the TV is not to loud and there are no yobs or children there and the beer is good.

Had a bad experience in this pub, Not a great first impression. We were pestered in an extreamly rude manner to purchase more drinks if we wanted to stay and continue watching the football.

Perfectly acceptable boozer even if its a bit like a large living room. Friendly staff and locals. Good place to watch the footie.

Excellent community pub with very good Courage as well as more CAMRA-friendly pubs; good place to watch live football.

This in an absolutely fantastic pub. It is the best pub that I have ever been to, I have been reviewing pubs for a number of years and this is it!! Great staff + great locals. Drinks, food, and family facilities are all top class. The young guys that used to sit on the table on the left as you walk through the door are my faves!

A good example of an enjoyable community local, light and airy on my lunchtime visit.

Three handpulls on (Pride, Courage Best and a leftfield choice of Cottage D&S) in decent nick.

Clientele mainly 40+ locals. Has an active darts team and Fantasy Football League as well as newspaper rack, which is a nice touch. Serves simple food which keeps the old fellas happy. Has a kids play area out the back.

No world-beater, but well worth a visit. I liked it.

This pub is a little strange. The staff are friendly enough but the atmosphere is a little weird with loud tv's showing sport, yet no youngsters there. Appeals to some i guess. Food and drink are generally ok and reasonably priced.

Friendly pub.
In the day the pub is like god's waiting room!
In the evening its boring and well boring!
Not much else to say really about this place!
Ok beers and food.
