The conversion to flats has been completed.

Now being converted into flats, another piece of my mispent youth lost for ever, still there's always the Coacn and Horses or the Jubilee.....

Shame if it's closed for good. Went out of our way to visit (including the long walk uphill) whilst on holiday as we heard it had bar billiards. Landlord was friendly enough.

Still closed and fenced off, planning permission for conversion into flats was refused by the council. Only a matter of time though.

Reading in the local CAMRA newsletter in Norwich last weekend this pub is closed again and conversion to residential use has been requested. A sad end to a once great little pub. Many happy memories of drinking top beer and playing bar billiards.....

Went there on Saturday and a sign in the doorway said the pub was temporarily closed. So I walked down the hill to The Coach and Horses

Re-opened with new tenants in late August. Beer was fine, 6 ales, nothing too adventurous e.g. Black Sheep, Deuchars. One local from Humpty Dumpty.

And I forgot to mention, the beer was hazy and poor, no doubt due to the fact nobody in their right mind would want to drink in here. Try the Jubilee up the hill, or almost anywhere else.

This pub in the early 80's was one of the 3 that flew the flag for real ales in Norwich, and has been consistantly good since. Until now. 8 of us went in here yesterday lunchtime, the pub was completely empty, the surly miserable cow behind the bar finished her texting after a while and deemed to serve us, at no time did she speak, or even say please or thankyou, no greeting, nothing. AFter she grudgingly served us she went straight back to texting, god knows who, I cant imagine she had any friends. Truly awful, and a sad shadow of its former self.

Happily, the Rosary reopened in early April but I've not visited yet to check it out.

Recently closed unfortunately - thanks Tim for all the good times!

Single room pub short walk from the station. Longer walk by going thro the Coach & Horses on the way! Great beer range which we had the space to enjoy as all the regulars were at the football. Another well run community local.

Comfy community local with friendly staff. Conservatory area and garden. Great choice of ales and would have loved to have had the time to sample food from the menu on display.

a sweet little pub which i liked they were so frindly and there seemed to be lots going on for the week ahead.good beer too which always helps.

Great friendly pub, with a good range of beers (Jackal plus 5 or 6 others last visit). Food served lunchtimes, but you have to go and get your own cutlery, sauces etc from the other side of the pub - not easy when it's rammed full on match days!

A nice locals pub that welcomes everyone. Good range of beer and worth a visit. Barmaid was friendly and attentive unlike the misery down the hill at the Adam & Eve.

I think this is my favourite Norwich pub and always make a point of coming here when I visit the City.

Homely and welcoming. It is a bit of a trek from the City Centre though.

This is a marevellous pub! Friendly atmposphere, excellent beer, with 7 real ales always on tap. I found the staff to be charming and attentive as well! Ten out of ten.
