user reviews of the Honeycombe (Hungry Horse), Hounslow

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Pub is a decent size inside which makes you think they'd be able to cope with a large number of customers. Unfortunately that isn't the case as we've often experienced long delays waiting for simple orders (burger & chips, etc) at lunchtimes (is that to be expected?)
Food isn't that great either, which is strange for such a large food-chain. Chips are often cold and not many of them.
I don't see any decent beers on tap either, mostly the usual lagers and ciders, etc. We've moved our work lunch venue to the Duke of Wellington pub just up the road, much faster service and slightly better quality of food.

The beer is reasonably priced (3:05 for Stella and 3;10 for Guinness) and the Stella was very good - one of the best pints I've had recently (however all pints and half pints are served in plastic glasses). I found the staff to be very polite and friendly - one of the barmaids took the time to apologise for a slight delay while she was serving another customer. I will use this pub again.

Just back from my daughter having her birthday meal there. Seven of us inc two kiddies fantastic. Only bad point plastic glasses for beer out side but coke in glass. Other than that cant knock this place.

Along with friends and granchildren over the past few months, I have enjoyed the food the staff are great and I always leave with a satisfied group. The young ones love the grab toy machine nearly always win.

Back here last thursday night and what a good night we had!! Lots of good singers and lots of laughs with Harryoke. DISCO JOHN had us in fits of laughter with his highly energetic version of D.I.S.C.O. Im becoming a karaoke thursday fan! Pity the bar staff were not as good as the karaoke, for goodness sake WAKE UP!!

this pub is quite appealing from the outside, however once inside you are confronted with dead atmoshere..deadpan barstaff..and piles of tasteless food on oversized plates...overcompensated with peas and sweetcorn(masses!)These pubs are sad attempt at being a Harvester..and doesn't feel like a pub at all!

I've eaten in here a few times and never had a bad meal.
Food is very cheap and the drinks are not badly priced.

The bar area used to be quite packed out but lately its been dead.

Staff are average, they are not rude but they aint exactly welcoming.
