Excellent pub with a great choice of beers. Well worth a visit.

Good Beer Guide 2019.

All the handpulls are on one side of the L shaped bar and guarded by bar hangers on stools. There is a chalk board above the bar but the font was of a size that rendered it unreadble with or without my glasses!

Instead, a chat with a bar man and a decent Conwy Beachcomber was selected.

Pub all geared up for dining, with an outside patio for watching the world go by.

Almost all tables reserved for food on late Saturday afternoon. Good outside area and beer. Food looked and smelt good.

This is pub for food with lots of customers eating good looking meals, I only wanted a beer which was good and well served.

A pleasant place on a quiet street near the station. A central bar featuring much wood and brass, with tables spread around the rest of the open-plan interior. [ Or you can sit on a stool at the bar ]

About half a dozen real ales available, plus a couple of ciders. I can’t remember what they all were, but I had Conwy Alt Bier, which wass my favourite of the day. The beer pumps have brief descriptions on them, taster glasses are available, and they do CAMRA discount.

There is an extensive menu, which looked interesting, but the prices were horrendous ! [ Minimum about £10 ]

7/10 – a good place to sit and wait for the train

The beer was nice and the pub okay if a bit bland.

A nice town centre pub behind Wetherspoons,good selection of real ales but pricey for food.;

I've called in here a few times, early evening, for a pint and although all the real ale pumps have labels on stating "Cellar Cool" the pint is usually room temperature. This pub has a Cask Marque plaque outside therefore I expect better especially at the "top wack" prices charged! Maybe Cask Marque should inspect here a little more often??

This pub was recommended by the proprietor of our accommodation, but we weren't impressed with the food service, overpriced mediocre fare. I ordered Chicken Balti with Naan Bread, the waiter turned up at the table with "We've run out of Naan Bread so we've put you two pieces of Garlic Bread". I never send food back at these establishments, I just don't use them again.

this food is of the highest quality,i have visited many times over the years, and any one going to llandudno must try ther delicious braising steak in red wine.the meal is accompanied with vegetables and chips/or pots and veg and are again very good.i only wished i could find a pub where the food is as good in the west midlands,a bit pricey but recommended

claims to be one of the older inns of the town.
interior has been tastefully and comfortably expanded to cater for more customers.
focus is largely on dining.
not all that many original features noticeable, but nicely refurbed.
couple of well kept cask ales.
courage directors when I visited. april 2007.

Decent pub. Beer was very drinkable (Directors and Brains SA). Food was good typical pub grub - nothing too flash but well cooked and tasty which was just what I was looking for / expected.

uite large place with plenty of seating, beer was good, service good PROVIDING YOU DID NOT WANT BEER about 5 staff seving food but one bloke on his own behind the bar,he was doing his best but still took around 5 mins to get served, seemed to have a good selection of beers. One thing to watch with Llandudno,do not go their on May day,it is the Victorian transport festival, the pubs are full ( with a lot of children (bless them ) running about
(best place beleive it or not is Spoons, where kids or on another (or should be) floor.
Also something I do not like was the large head (a good half inch) but it took so long to get served in the first place I did not ask for it to be topped up.

Seemed smart enough and service prompt, but beer (Brains SA) was very poor.
