A planning application from amber inns (sadly) to refit and re open this pub has been passed to Watford council DEC 2009.

its been closed for years..and used to be full of yobbos when it was open in the 1980s. yes that long!!

I went in this place once and i was blantently under age at the time... either thats y it closed down or they were desperate for customers

Sadly still closed. the local council want it to remain as a pub, hence the fact its not been let as a retail outlet.
Could do very well if the right person takes it over, only time will tell.

Great pub....now that it's been closed down.
Should have been burnt down years ago when they introduced a 'couples only' policy.
