The previous reviews did not represent the pub i found on on recent visit.... It is far far from paradise on earth.

This is a great East London Pub, which is both welcoming and friendly to all visitors. It offers a wide selection of beers and spirits and has a great lunch menu as well. Also there is a great beer garden for those lazy summer days. Recommend it as one of the best drinking holes in Stratford- watch out for Quiz night every other Thursday the locals know a thing or two.

Hmmm, not sure I recognise the pub from the reviews.

The landlord is a decent bloke who came from the Colegrave. It is a regulars pub, not especially friendly, though with well kept ales.

Despite its huge potential it has never really cracked the local market and is now plagued with dealers. Wish it well though.

The Manby is a place where dreams come true! Friendly regulars and sandwiches at half time of West Ham matches... what more would you want. If you go, be sure to buy wee jimmy cranky a pint of bud!

Great Little pub, been steadily done up over the past few years with very good beer in a nice friendly atmosphere, which is a hard thing to find in stratford these days!

good old local back in the 70;s. remember when David Essex stayed there on one of his concert tours, nice courtyard at the side of the pub from memory
