What kind of pub is this ?

It looks a bit rough and ready

Not many bar staff either

The place is empty

They clamp people in the car park, what kind of pub does that, seems a daft way of attracting customers, but as the pub is empty, a good way of getting an income

It used to be a thriving pub, what happened here ?

It's clean. That is probably the best thing I can say about it.

Looks like they might be going bust- lots of empty space in the glass fronted fridges. No more free WIFI either.

Only been here about 10 times and have always been made to feel that I was inconveniencing the staff by ordering a drink.

Quite possibly the worst pub in the world.Everyone in there has an ASBO.
Crap.

The Eastcote has at last had its long awaited refurb, and is now under new management. The pub is now clean, warm, friendly and inviting. Live football shown on four big plasma screens. Live music and regular entertainment every friday night from 9pm till late. The kitchen is due to reopen this weekend for the first time in ages - traditional home cooked food is on the menu along with a very good OAP's weekday special of any meal for only 3.00 and a fun pick and mix kids meal for only 2.99. Paddy's Day should be good as the landlord is a 'Paddy' and will be laying on 'Boiled Bacon and Cabbage and Karaoke supplied by ROB SHOWPLAN'. Why not pop along and see for yourself.
Carparking and smoking areas are also provided.

The most uninspiring boozer that its ever been my misfortune to enter;mediocrity has never reached such heights.

Have to agree. If they sorted out all those probs I'd go there on a regular basis (only a 10 minute bus ride)and so would lots of others I'm sure.
Let's get the 282 bus full of commuters to the "Eastcote"

The beer was cheap when i was down on 22/10/05. same prices to the some pubs where i go to in Bury and Radcliffe its no different but agree that a refit would do it wonders for a pub of that size i will be up again at end off Feb/March for weekend again

A pub I've spent way too much time and money in and really wonder why!!

Beers crap (well good if you want a good clean out of you guts in the morning!). Staff are misarable (constantly) and it appears to be a chore to serve you, that's if you can get their attention!

This used to be a very lively pub every night of the week, but after a succession of crap landlord (bar one!) and a lack of any sort of entertainment (apart from the resident drunkards!) has sadly gone way downhill.

Nearly always empty apart from the same old faces, but a pub of this size and location should really be pulling in more punters!

The place could also do with a complete refit, the last one made the place worse! and sort out the men toilets! they are constantly flooding and stinking of well you can guess!

There's now a new landlady in the pub who previously ran another pub in the area very successfully so hopefully things can only improve.

Just remembered why I went there so much, the beer was soooo cheap!!

Big pub, nothing special on decor (needs improvement asap) and the bar staff are bit odd. although one girl was nice looking and smiled once. Landlord never around, needs to see whats going on in the place
