The present landlord Madhav has been there for just over a year, and he has done well with refurbishing the venue and seeking to make this a family pub. The "Free Jukebox" on Friday evening just brings the grungers out of the woodwork! Great homemade food is also on offer here.

Locals pub located in the centre of Oundle. This is not normally my kind of establishment. Customers were fairly young and were all very merry. This may have had something to do with the pink concoction that was being prepared in pitchers to celebrate one man's birthday. Music was being played very loud and apparently the ladies toilets were blocked! Nevertheless, everybody seemed very friendly and I actually found myself enjoying my short time here despite only sticking to a coke as I was driving. Beers were from the Marstons range - Pedigree & Wychwood Hobgoblin & Dirty Tackle.

Great pub that is now serving fantastic real ales which change every week. Lovely food, can't wait for the entertainment to get going.

Now under new Management with a new chef. Is a bit quiet. Food is great, good menu at a good price. Starting to have a few bands/kareoke/entertainment on Saturdays. Lovely Patio in the Summer.

Used to be an awful place when I was at school - full of kids falling over themselves to get pissed the fastest. Nice during the day when I visited recently, patio area lovely.
