This place is now a pub selling Indian cuisine. I was the only customer at lunchtime today. But it still has the feel of a traditional pub and the staff were friendly. 2 ales were Timothy Taylor Landlord & Woodforde's Bure Gold. I went for the latter and was served an overpriced short measure that tasted as if it had been sat in the pipes for some time. Nothing to recommend here.

The Kingsfield is a great little pub. It has a nice atmosphere and always serves good beer. The bar staff are very friendly and always give a warm welcome.

Used to go to this pub on a regular basis before falling ill. Now I'm gradually getting back on my feet with the aid of crutches hope to go back soon..

Having to move away from the area and the only regret is not able to get to the kingsfield more often - it's nice, relaxed, good beer, pool and bar staff who are prepared to have some banter - any new locals to the area get yourself there and experience it for yourselves - i recommend it.

ventured here last night for the first time and found it to be a decent boozer. The bitter aside from IPA was quite nice, forget the bloody name now. Nice looking asian barmaid very friendly. Would come again.

Been here three times in the last month, and the Speckled Hen has been off every time...only bitter available was IPA, which is like drinking water.
How hard is it to put on a new barrel every so often ?

This pub is without doubbt one of the better pubs in Harrow. Its tucked away although still reasonably central,it has a decent crowd going in there, the landlord is friendly which is rare these days.

This is one of the better pubs around Harrow. It is clean, well run and the beer is excellent. I always found the staff to be friendly. It has a strong core of regulars, many of whom also use The Castle up on the hill. There are lots of pubs in the town centre that could learn a thing or two from The Kingsfield.

I fully concur with your last comments i too have enjoyed many a pleasant evening in this establishment and indeed in the company of Dave
The fella has an encyclopedic knowledge of soul and house music and is generous beyond beleif
Me and my good lady was captivated by his charm and the witty repoirtee and banter between him and the other regulars

I have been a frequent visitor to the Kingsfield over the years although I wouldn't consider myself a regular - too many other pubs on route which usually means that I have had enough before I get that far!

Popped in last week for a couple of quiet beers and found the atmosphere to be better than the majority of pubs in the local area, Harrow has become somewhat of an unfriendly place to drink for lone drinkers like myself who like to have a few at the weekend however The Kingsfield had a very homely feel about it.

I was particularly amazed at the generosity of one punter in particular who only referred to himself as Dave, this individual, who didn't know me from Adam bought me at least two drinks in the space of an hour whilst we chatted about love, life and other worldly conundrums.

I would recommend the Kingsfield to anyone in the local area, they do a grwat pint, a decent pie and should you, like myself, find yourself kicking your heels and looking for a friend, just ask for Dave!

Cheers Dave and the Kingsfield!

Good traditional style pub full of local characters
Nice friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere
Ideal for watching football on the two big screens or a game of pool or darts with the regulars
Good place to while away a sunday afternoon with your pals or a lady
A throwback to the good old days of the local

Have been going past this pub for the last couple of years and thought it was time to try it out. Very nice pub - deceptive how far back it goes. More of an atmosphere at the front on the pub - but if you are looking for a quiet pint and a read of the paper - go towards the back and it's relaxing. Price of a pint ok - but bar staff need to be keeping an eye for people wanting a beer as the regulars glog up the bar using seats. Toilets nice and clean too!! Will be going back with the wife next time.

Now using this pub again.Pleasant atmosphere and they have started a curry night on Wednesdays. Excellent value and impressive meals, choice of two types.
Popular for football games, screens in most bars if that is what you want.

Used to be a reasonable pub never ever busy. The staff are somewhat surly and 'disappear' seconds before you go to the bar for a refill.
Is my local so will still drink there but there could be improvements and get rid of the large screen. While we are about it how about some classy food..

In its defence I have to say there is little passing trade as it is a mile or so from the town centre so it must do what it can to get business.

the kingsfield arms has recently changed managment and now has a fun clean and friendly atmosphere, with a patio garden it is ideal for the summer and the new tv's and big screen makes it a great place to watch the rest of the world cup.id definatly say it is more than worth a visit.

Oh dear! Following the departure of the previous landlord,we popped in twice and found,to our dismay that the place had changed for the worse.Noisy music and simultaneous football on enormous screen are not our cup of tea, so we are now avoiding the place.May well attempt to buy a drink there after World Cup and see if there has been any improvement but don't hold out much hope.

Very welcoming landlord and friendly, efficient staff.
Real ale and selection of wines by the glass.
Quiz each Tuesday , very popular.
Attractive flowering baskets outside and very pleasant small beer garden at the back.
It's a good place to relax after a hard day.The only trouble is that we enjoy it so much we can't keep away from the place.

A great spot for a summer's afteroon, with windows onto two streets and a merry little beer garden at the back. Draught IPA is in prime condition.

Very much a local's pub. Has "character" (ie: in need of more than just a lick of paint).
