This pub was successfully converted to a veterinary surgery, a decade ago.
And the only customers served there nowadays (mostly) have 4 legs.
Consequently the place is no longer included in any good/bad beer guides.

Went there on Saturday night for the first time in over a year,What a change!!The place has been clean up,much brighter,painted,big tv.Beer in good nick but best of all,two barstaff and landlord who made time to talk to everyone in a busy pub,Will be back,LOVE IT!!!

im so pleased they have two doors. i walked in one and straight out the other.

This pub on the main road consists of seperate areas for darts, pool and tv with a smaller section with a few tables and ketchup bottles. We sat down and obviously upset the 3 locals who immediately left for an unidentified (by me) room upstairs. Odd place but served a well kept pint of Greene King IPA
