Smart and popular pub off the beaten track a little (a Sainsburys opposite and on the 200 bus route which goes back through Wimbledon to Raynes Park) .Two ales on including Tribute for 4.00 a pint, but specialises more in bottled beers. Table tennis and petanque are advertised; petanque (or boules) may be an odd choice but in many ways it is an ideal pub game and used to be played at the lamented Newt and Ferret in Kingston. The new name "The Garden Shed" makes me wonder if it should diversify into a submarine habitat but apart from that it was ok.

This pub has been taken over and is now called "The Garden Shed."

Well looked after beer including some lovely ales, a decent range of wine, great home made pizza, friendly staff, fast service, nice decor, comfy seats. Brilliant!

Oh dear. Frightening. Fairly empty for a Saturday night, but those there were not the sort of people you would want to indulge in small talk with. No ale, just Whitbread keg. Decent enough conservatory though with pool table, but decor straight from the Transvaal

All I can say is WOW!!! This Pub has transformed into something great!!! Since the new owners has taken over this Pub I can go there and have a fab time. Great and friendly service. The picture is still old but the facelift makes it look like a "A" list pub. I am also so happy to see the carpet has been removed. Well done!!!!

Met a fit guy in there recently, if you think this place is dirty then you definitely haven't met him!!

Been a while since the last commment - I never used to go until about 2 years ago

Started to change about then - the Liverpool-obsessed Irish manager took it on and seems to have been getting better since then but to be fair if Liverpool are playing it's worth going just to see him in action

Ok I rescind my last comment.

Since then new management have taken over, and it seems that all the scum who were previously barred are now allowed in the pub - meaning the pub is now packed with Chelsea-supporting chavs spoiling for a fight. Old staff have all left (including the lovely Sam), and the atmosphere is just very rough and very dirty now.

Big pub, 2 pool tables and big screen TV. Good jukebox - as long as you're into Glam rock... People seem friendly enough, although there has been the odd punch up in there.

I like this pub - it has an authentic feel to it and few trimmings but has a good pint of bitter and kids are welcome. Friendly when I went there on a Sunday afternoon.

It's really good at the moment. A new landlord took over about 2 months ago and I really enjoyed it here. It was friendly and clean and a nice pub to be in. Excellent.

People say this pub is never cleaned, but I know for a fact the ashtrays are emptied once every two weeks.

It's a pretty grotty pub with nothing to commend it. Visit only if you look forward to a night of boredom on greasy seats surrounding by the uninspired
