the same as every brannigans... except for the violence...
its ok drink offers produce some scallies and indeed follows the trouble. Its an OK venue but nothing amazing. The doorstaff are the same as every other in manchester - doing their job! And the staff are varied like the music. Some are friendly, others are full of themselves. not my pint of beer but always seems busy [ish]

The highest praise this pub can be given is that you don't get glassed there unlike in most Brannigans.

Moody door staff who seem to judge people by their footwear...although this seems very random at best.
Ok inside, but nothing that hasn't been done before by other pubs about 8 years ago.

Tawdry nights out for Eaters, Drinkers,Cavorters and Australian backpackers. The weekend crush of fun seekers engage themselves in the process of never being able to find the fun they seek and when the lights go up check out the floor, littered with much of what's been sold over the bar and the remnants of peoples' dignity. Next time cross over the road to Bar 38.

a meat market. unfortunately we're not talking fillet steak here, more your condemned stewing steak sold at the local market by a man with microphone. Great if you're into rough old wives/divorcees. Frankly im not.

What can I say..great place! Guarenteed to get a great atmosphere every weekend! The place is haunted mind you..but its never put me off in the slightest! If your looking for a good knees up on a monday night..this is the place to be..it cost you about 3 to get in , but yoour first drink is free..then a 1 then onwards.Cheap night all round..guarentted to come out legless with a lot of change left. If you ever come to Manchester, dont give Brannigans a miss..you will not be disappointed!

Ummm...cool pub. But then again I think all pubs are cool. Met a nice girl there whilst I was backpacking from Australia. Scary ghost stuff upstairs apparently. Good beer and on "that" night, great company! :-)

At least you can get a pint there after 10pm on a Sunday, which is unusual for the area.
