Great little place. Cracking Harvey's and a nice vino for the lady. Beautiful garden out the back with loads of space. Will deffo be back.

Two things to say about this pub; 1) good quality beer and atmosphere and 2)what a truly splendid bench just outside courtesy of Eynsford Parish Council. It's a real experience to sit on. Thank you.

This is a decent little pub and the best I've experienced on my Eynsford visits.
Bar staff and locals all very friendly.

My wife and I occasionally drive through Eynsford on our way to the picturesque village of Shoreham, but on those occasions when we've been left flat by the pubs there, we've stopped off at The Five Bells on our way back through for a pint. I really like this pub. It's a proper pub and it doesn't claim to be anything else. Beer is lovely, the bar reasonably priced and it has a warm friendly atmosphere, even to us 'out-of-towners'! Haven't eaten here as yet, but I will update my review once I have. All in all, a decent, quiet boozer.

Classic village pub. Good beer, friendly service. Food is basic, but doesn't purport to be gastro so is sensibly priced!

We regularly visit this establishment on Friday evenings. Always friendly and attentive staff and good selections of beers. Only tried the sandwiches when we visited on a lunchtime and they were good value and tasty. This is no Gastro pub though!

A nice, traditional two bar local - quite a rarity these days.It has a comfortable, 'lived-in' feel (I suspect that's the same as what a previous reviewer calls 'tired and in need of a refurb - but I like it).
Three ales on when we were there -Harvey's, Taylor Landlord and another which I forget. A quiet, relaxed atmosphere,unspoilt by loud music or other diversions.Overall, if not a pub I'd go miles out of my way to visit, certainly one I'd be very happy to come back to if I found myself in the locality.

Recently visited this pub for a nice pint of Landlord and a pub lunch which was excellent along with the atmosphere and friendly bar staff and patrons, much better than the "modern" atmosphere free The Plough and Harrow round the corner. Highly recommended.

We thought this would be a beautiful country pub on the inside but it is very tired and in need of a refurb. Food ws average.

We stopped here for lunch during a walk and were rewarded with a friendly atmosphere, beutifully prepared fresh sandwiches at a very reasonable price, and one of the finest ales in the land in Timothy Taylor Landlord (Harvey's and Courage were also on offer). There was no quibble about our keeping our boots on and the levels of cleanliness and courtesy were exemplorary. This is one of the less 'obvious' pubs in Eynsford and whilst it fronts directly onto the street at the front, we congratulated ourselves on choosing it.
