Went on the off chance on a Tuesday for something to eat and a couple of beers. Was quiet, but had three beers on (Mr Chubbs, Doom Bar, Hogsback HBB) in excellent condition. The Mr chubbs was reasonably priced at 2.90 pint as well. Food was nicely cooked. Would certainly visit again soon.

New chef does a very good (and short) menu. Very nice starters, main and desserts.

Three ales on, Abbot, West Berks Mr Chubbs and a Twyford brew. Sampled the Mr Chubbs and it was very nice.
Landlord was pleasant and attentive and the waitresses were efficient and (hope my wife isn't reading) very pretty.

Very nice meal and a good night out, worth booking on a Saturday night if you want to eat.

I remember this establishment when it was a pub. Sigh.
