Service is friendly and relaxed. Not cheap . lunch full of bussiness people. a little over priced. Not bad on summer evening to enjoy drink outside

Superb establishment, with some of the friendliest staff in Reading, although, such as shame to see one of the graceful blonde ladies leave over the past month, will be sorely missed.

I see Lord Jason, the landlord of a well-known local Wetherspoons fleapit, is on there too. May his establishment slide into the Kennet.

The refurb has taken out the bar area, which is a shame, though they still have well-kept ales on. Reports of the food are - portions slipping and prices climbing.

This interesting restuarant/bar has just been re-furbished and you may now want to consult your bank manager before going there to eat!!

I have been here a few times and have loved every meal I have been for here.

The service is friendly and relaxed, the staff helpful and the food superb quality, although a little over priced.

Mainly an upmarket restaurant, but gets into BITE due the nice little bar area which serves up a very good pint of Pride and Brakspear - which goes down nicely in the outside seating area/boat on a sunny day.

Don't ask about the food, I'm not that rich...

Check out the little free museum a bit further up from the boat, which features a fully-restored old gypsy caravan from the turn of the century.

Takes a bit of finding, but well-worth a stop on a sunny day.
