Three Swans Inn, Fromeback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
An eclectic clientele and a pleasant pub serving a decent pint of Butcombe - about as good a pint of it as you'll get.

Spent best part of an evening there over the Easter weekend. Pleasant staff and friendly locals. Not a huge selection of beer (from memory 2-3), but the two I tried were good. Good atmosphere. 8/10

Wow, what an amazing transformation! The current owner has turned this historical drinking hole into a haven of utter charm and inimitable style The pub has been decorated with respect, beautiful items litter each room, giving the place wonderful (and above all, amusing!) character. And there is of course top local bitter too! I'll be frequenting for sure!

Nice old building, friendly locals, cheap bar food 3.80>. Regretable that the 'Pheasant Plucker' cider & 'Bee Sting' "pear cider" are both fizzy keg stuff.

Had a good time in here. Nice surrounding almost traditional. People very friendly, cider was exceptional!! (pheasant plucker!!) will go back there.

The Three Swans is located in the truly older and traditional part of Frome. It stands at the top of Cheap Street, one of the County's olde worlde shopping lanes, where a continuous spring stream runs down to the market place. The pub continues this image of seventeenth century grandeur and the lounge bar and restaurant doesnt disappoint either. The new licensee has reorganised attraction features so as to politely discourage an unruly clientele. A policy that appears to be working as a packed lounge bar authenticates. Fine draught ales are once again well kept and the landlords ability to produce excellent value food from a robust and imaginative menu are to be congratulated. This is good news for Frome for the pub was once classified as Fromes Inn Pub and the then licensee won a national Innkeeper of the Year Award.
