Very well organised for social distancing etc. Tables allocated inside or outside according to numbers. Good selection of real ales and delicious thin crust pizzas. Very clean and smart toilets - upstairs - and a surprisingly large number of them. An excellent place to visit during current restrictions.

So much of a hipster joint that even Nathan Barley would blush, this is beyond parody in so many ways and it would be rude not to spend your time here debating the pros and cons of gentrification. However, it really is brilliant - a fabulous beer selection including the divine Triple Chocoholic from Saltaire, tasty looking pizzas, superb music (which I could not identify - often the best kind) and a pleasing canalside location. Carried off with aplomb as so much hipster stuff is.

Went through more of the range this time and all their ales were in decent nic. The pizzas were eatable (though served on some MFI offcuts), staff fairly good at serving. Some of the customers were a pain though - taking ages to decide what beer to buy doing a Jilly Goolding impersonation in the process (ooh there's hints of burnt eucalyptus leaves mingling with koala bear toenail clippings in that one) while you're stood behind with a mouth like Gandhi's flip flop. Okay if you like eating and drinking on canteen benches in a warehouse environment.

Posey hipster bar. Not a proper pub.

Great location by the Lea. It gets very busy and as others mention it serves some tasty pizzas. Whilst the beer here is good, I think the beer next door in Howling Hops is better.

A Friday night visit before a West Ham home game. Not sure whether it was due to being a Friday night or West Ham at home but it was ham packed.

It's not the biggest place and the bar is in a slightly awkward position with the open plan kitchen behind it, pizzas were popular.

As you would expect in a brewery bar the majority of the ales were from Crate , I duly sampled their Milk Stout @ 5.3% and the American Nut Brown @ 4.8% both on cask and both blinking excellent pints.

The building is basically a warehouse but when its busy it just feels like you're in a boozer. Worth a visit as it sells ales and I have on good authority the pizzas are decent.

Good range of beers. Seems busy al the time. The Piazza's are very good. Beer can be a bit pricey although sometimes the beers can be over 6%, so higher prices attract higher duty. Worth a visit definitely.

Have been meaning to try this pub for a while. So I took the opportunity whilst visiting nearby Victoria Park. It's a trendy, warehouse-style bar with its own beers, guests and pizzas. Cask ales from Crate were Porter, Rye, Best & Golden. Guests were Tempest Brave New World & Summer Wine Mosaic Pale. The real cider was Carey Organic Dry. Also tried a Rum & Raisin Brown beer from Crate. We tried the pizzas, which were tasty enough. This is a hip place with loud music played by a DJ. But it has a nice location next to the canal. Although the area on the other side of the building is less than inspiring.

Reasonable enough canalside warehouse housing Crate Brewery and Pizzeria. Not sure about their cloudy best Bitter though (is it really 'supposed tobe like that' ?). The full range of Crate brews available though unsurprisngly it does get busy - something to do with a severe lack of any decent ale alternatives.

Curious brewpub in what appears to be some sort of canalside warehouse building. Beer was pretty good. It was exceptionally crowded on the Saturday afternoon we visited with a 40 minute wait for the home made pizzas they offer. Would be nice to experience when there was the chance of a seat.

This is a brewpub with a difference. Situated in a rather currently run down area bordering the Olympic Park. They brew some great beers and make excellent pizzas. They are doing well and have opened a bigger brewing operation close by. If you're not happy walking into the small industrial estate access the pub from the canal.
