Banksy needn't have bothered, he could just have organised tours to this place. Dismaland indeed. What makes it worse is that it's a historic building.

Nice rack of ribs mind. Odd that they weren't serving grub in the beer garden though. Lovely big area out the back completely empty despite it being 32c.
Weird place all round. Wouldn't rush back.

All i can say is never again what a alful place. We went for a family meal, The bowls at the salad cart were all dirty we had to ask for clean one's along with some other dinners. The salad cart didn't look to clever. They couldn't do plan pasta for my daughter as she can't have tomato as it is bought in pre packed so they just heat it up now.
By the time we left which was only about an hour my tummy was hurting and i was unwell that night and the following day., I can't say if it was what i had eaten or not as i was the only one sick but i was also the only one from our group to have something no one else did. I would never go back there again even if they paid me.

Well, I went back to the Plough. It's like taking a trip to the Land of Low Expectations. The salad bar had miserable droopy lettuce, and gloopy lard & vinegar dressings from the cheap kind of catering pack. The chicken was that oozing, bouncy stuff with the griddle marks scorched on in the factory. The bun was icky-sweeter than a McDonalds bap. The table service "pint" of IPA had a full inch of froth on it. They sell seven different brands of lager, but no proper beer. The front garden can only be accessed from the building, so it's very unwelcoming. The outdoor tables are screwed to the ground - ditto. I'm not sure what's going on here, it's like visiting the "Olde Englishe Pubbe" in a down-at-heel Spanish resort where ugly drunk girls snog scrawny oiks in the main square. Is this a rough and crappy pub that has somehow made a wrong turn and ended up in a reasonably nice bit of SW London, or did I accidentally buy a house in an undesirable neighbourhood and this pub is entirely appropriate for the postcode? For crying out loud the place is not even clean! I repeat my plea: Harvester, please resign your ownership of this fab old building, get out of KT4 and let someone with beer in their soul turn the Plough back into an atmospheric old boozer - or even into a poncy gastropub full of w*nkers. At least poncey gastropub food might not make me feel like cleaning my teeth. And I'd get a full pint.

Couldn�t agree more with italiastar and jpwsmith. It�s a Harvester so you know what you are going to get in the way of food. But I have to say that it is pretty good value for what you are paying. My main gripe is that they don�t sell a real ale. It�s too much trouble I suppose. A "pub" having nothing worth drinking is a major flaw in my opinion.

I have never had such a bad pint.stunk like mouldy old apples, loads of bits floating in it. vile!!!!!!!.place stuck like it hasn't been cleaned in years...

This is a very disappointing pub. Lovely exterior, right on a green, old building - perfect. Inside, it's a horror story - cheap, lowest-common-denominator decor and deeply unambitious beer/food offerings. There's only lager, or nasty kegged IPA. Not even proper beer in bottles. The restaurant has taken over the nicest bit of the building. When I visited, a member of staff came over and swept food crumbs off the table onto the floor by way of "tidying up". I wish, I wish, that Harvester would walk away from this brilliant building and let a proper pub company run it.

Nice pub, good selection of beers and the quiz night on a tuesday is pretty good fun, not too hardcore like in some pubs nearby

Tragedy - no more Bass! I had to make do with Greene King IPA last night. Nevertheless, it was still pleasant to sit outside with the flowers and ruminate on the day. I still think it's OK.

Always a favourite of mine, most excellent food, service okay, beer splendid. Lovely old pub which I have frequented for years.

I've not eaten here yet, but I don't know why the rating's so low, since this is a nice afternoon's drink under the parasols overlooking the green. No spectacular beers, but the Bass is about as good as in the midlands; maybe Southerners aren't used to it yet. It's an old building - mind your heads - and the nooks on external walls can be cold in winter, but lovely in summer. I mainly like it, and go back regularly. Who said it was expensive? Surely Bass there is cheap? Maybe Southerners aren't used to it yet. Oh, well, never mind.

Good old pub and the old plough pond...haah one foot deep, once said to have a pike in it. I once saw a guy with a car like a foor board. fancied a chick there a log time a go.....aaaa happy days.

Great decor inside this pub but its a bit souless which it shouldn't be considering its about 300 years old. The food is nice (well, its a Harvester) and nice beers but the local chavs congregate outside by the ponds (encouraged no doubt by the Co-op on the other side of the road). There is a shortage of seating at times but the 213 bus stops outside and there are a couple of excellent curry houses opposite.

Nice pub. Friendly service (by most!). Great selection of drink. Can get lively at the weekend, but isnt that whats supposed to happen?!

Could not agree more. Grew up 'round WP and this was a crap pub as soon as they sold out. I do hope the Plough pond is still intact. Seriously, great location, an olde pub too but you can not polish a turd! If a dale is still around avoid at all costs!

Full of lean-heads who get well carnaged and shout silly things at the top of their voices!! Often on a weekend you will find people barking and p*ssing all over the toilet walls and then throwing chairs into the pond next door afterwards like wild animals!!
This is my type of pub!!

Been going here for years, great pub, good selection of draught beer, friendly atmosphere and if you like Carlsberg you can't go wrong, �1.95 a pint. Gavin I'm sure I will see you in there soon.

A very friendly local pub with lots of characters to drink with or served by, bit more expensive then others in Worcester Park but it keeps the sawdust away!
