Prior to going in this pub a few years back my friend Meerkat drank so much Scrumpy Jack he wet himself and chundered on the 8.55 train from Gatwick i will say sorry on his behalf as he does suffer from slight Down Syndrome but on the whole this pub is dogs testicals in Reading town center

I'll pass comment on this as Dogma, seeing as the updating for this site is currently sporadic, to say the least.
Cocktail bar with 3 ales on, all pulled through a sparkler and all in poor condition.
Queue at the bar is ridiculously long.
Avoid.

now re open contours gym you mothers.used to go there before it shut mid 1999.it was the best gym in berkshire!!!

Closed - thank god, it went right down hill after it started to do drum n base nights. Lots of trouble with footie hooligans too. Anyway, it's shut, HOORAY!!

Shame it's closed... now all the under-agers will be invading the pubs us 18+'ers go to for a quiet drink

"it has sofas"??????? so does DFS but it doesn't mean i want to go there...if thats all you can think of to say your clutching at straws...i used to work nearby and we used to go there after work...its one redemming feature is the exit.

Good pub to chill out and have a few. Food is nice. Can also be good on a Saturday night when the upstairs opens with the bouncy dancefloor!
