Potential. No real ale. Guinness had gone. Fall-back options of Kronenbourg and Beck Viers not possible as both off - at Friday lunchtime. Haggled a bottle of Guinness Original for 3. Large one-roomed boozer. Presumably serves a purpose (and catchment area). Barmaid pleasant.

Single room backstreet pub in an odd area hemmed in by the A40, Edgware Rd and Marylebone Station. There are quite a lot of pubs in this area but most are pretty poor and the Brazen Head is no exception. It's a single room pub with some nice chairs and tables and an impressive backdrop to the bar. The rest of the decorating though looks half done and the room is not particularly warm or welcoming.

There is no real ale which keeps the beard and anorak quotient low but when I visited the chav quotient was relatively high.

No reason to visit here again.

No real ale despite two handpumps, both with clips turned around.

Avoid.

Went to a private function in this pub on Friday and can report that the hand pump is still in place, despite the pub not selling real ale. Suggestion to the management: get some ale in here or REMOVE THE PUMP. The barmaid served me a brandy in a highball glass. The same barmaid, about five minutes later, came to our table and lifted the glass, which still had the brandy in it! Der. A large single room with no character whatsoever. I am unsure as to why anyone would wish to drink in this place.

A very odd place - very sparse interior and virtually emtpy when I visited. I think there might have been one hand-pump but no real ale available. There's evidently some sort of youth hostel upstairs - I don't envy backpackers staying in this area, but I'd guess it's cheap.

This is possibly the greatest pub in London. The sport is good and the guys are hot.

this is a lovely, modern pub. spacious and airy, and several screens make it perfect for watching the footie!

On the basis of many months catching the footie in this pub I was quite prepared to staunchly defend it. Friendly landlady, plentiful seating and a regular with a dog just like the one off "Woof!". However following a recent refit things have changed, for the homogenised 'clean modern lines' worse. All that remains the same is the view out the window above the urinals in the gents. A few too many after-work suits in here now.

Gutted. Me and the pub both.

i've watched footie here a couple of times and its indeed a local pub, but i didnt think it was unfriendly at all - just a working class pub, which might be the root of the issue with some of those who have opined on the pub.

that said, i've been in better pubs, like.

Didn't seem unfriendly, just seemed shite.
