The owner of this pub is always helpful and friendly. I have been there a few times now and really enjoyed it, especially when they have theme nights. Like the beach party they had and when the owner dressed up like Santa - keep up the good work

Stank of toilets on my one and only visit. I'll stick to the Rose and Crown.

Check out the live music, The Shaolin Monkeys liven up the main bar with superb acoustic sets on Friday evenings. Come along and listen to one of South London's most exciting new bands.

Big Ben and I made our second visit to the Brunswick on Friday evening. This time we took along another of our mates Classy Claire to run her eye over the place and treated her to a pint in the ultra cool conservatory bar. Claire really enjoyed the 80's atmosphere and retro decor - I think she'll be back for more.

Had a pint here with my mate Big Ben. We were impressed by the atmosphere and the menu particularly the Chicken Soup with a Roll.

...at times a crash course in "Pigeon Polish" wouldn't go amiss here - or perhaps a pub name change..."The Warsaw Arms".

.....dear Mrs Bowden. Respect is all your daughter deserves. She's a super bar person (politically correct I'm sure) with a super personality to match. Always service with a smile - and the others should take note!

ps. Wish they'd get rid of that bloody photograph though!

Yes! Sarah (note the 'h') is a good laugh. But please respect her. I'm her Mum.

.....the new Brunnie menu's now out but the tastiest treat @ two quid a throw and NOT on the menu is the "cheese on toast". Specify whether you want it browned though or it'll arrive on hot bread. Super Sara's a great laugh over a lunchtime pint and the music's always a talking point. Get a fecking jukebox!

I know Donkey Dan pretty well and he would be a great guy,but as James said he's usually pissed...He's in this lovely bar at lunctimes. If you see him say hello from me.

A bar where everybody knows your name! The staff are super friendly & efficient, the price of the beer is reasonable. It has become our local because the atmosphere is always so great.
Theres a guy who walks in (well stumbles through the door half pissed usually) who I have heard called Donkey Dan. I would love to get to know him better, even though he has a dishevelled look about him, I am sure that if someone washes him down he would scrub up really well.
If you by any chance read this Donkey I will be in the Brunswick on Fri
See ya!

With a much required makeover the Brunswick Arms could make up a little ground on it's neighbours here. The bar staff are always polite and friendly and given a wider range of draft beers and lagers I'd drink here incessantly - O! I do already. The food's also worth a dabble.
