Impressive building; pretty naff beer range - there are better 'spoons in town.

Bog standard. Not bad. Not good. You know what you are getting. Preferable to the Benjamin Huntsman round the corner mind.

This Lloyds No#1 (aka Wetherspoons with music) is actually called the Sheffield Waterworks Company presumably named after the building in which it occupies. 4 ales were available with only one guest (a very good Thornbridge Jaipur IPA). Its a 2-tier affair inside with the upstairs area and is a decent stop for a beer and cheap food during the day (provided you dont mind the sticky tables) as my window seat afforded a nice place to sit. If youre on a town crawl it probably isnt worth stopping though but it isn't too bad for a Lloyds.

Typical Lloyds No 1. Nice building, but variable service and food and unexciting beer.

Good food, cheap beer, always start a night out in here!

I drink here regularly, I like the place. Decent food deals during the week, pleasant staff, not at all pretentious.

It's always clean and friendly, the real plus I find about this pub is that they have a pretty much zero tolerance policy on troublemakers. It's a pub I know I can meet my husband in on a Saturday night and not get any hassle if he gets there before me.

It's a bit of an older crowd most of the time which also helps.

On a recent visit I found it not as bad as other users have found - good range of (standard) pub meals and very good range of beers including the mighty VB. Lots of children though

Probably the worst Lloyd's I've been in, very little atmosphere and not even a great selection of beer. There are much better places in town.

Crap food, long wiating time for drinks. not the best place to go. Try RSVP over road, it's everything Lloyds isn't

They should train astronauts here with the lack of atmosphere.Bar design by numbers.Didn't like it at all and overpriced.
