user reviews of the Triple Crown, Isleworth

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I will, from now on refrain for making any further comments on this site. There is an option on here to e-mail me directly with any concerns which anyone may have. There is over 40 reviews on this site about the pub, with a small minority of them being bad ones. I would ask anyone reading reviews on the pub to read them all and not to take much notice of remarks made by former employees of mine or customers who were asked to leave as they did not know how to conduct themselves in a public house. I think you will notice that the good reviews on here tell the real story of how I manage this pub and I will continue to strive for excellence in this profession, a profession which I have dedicated all of my working life to. Many thanks for taking the time to read this. Eamonn, Manager The Triple Crown (Jolly Gardners)

I would like to say a big Thank You to the LandLord of the Triple Crown Pub, My friends and I had a wonderful evening there whilst raising money during the charity event for the Special Baby Unit and Starlight Ward.I have and will continue to drink in this pub as I think the atmosphere and staff are brilliant. I would highly recommend the food as well, the sunday Roast is not to be missed, prepared by their excellent cook. There is nothing about this place that is not to like, friendly staff, excellent food, cheerful people, good beer, a landlord with a good sense of humour and a good game of pool, what more could you wish for?
Thank You Eamonn, You are one in a million.

i think that this pub has really turned around its not like it used to be, since the new manager has taken over it has been an enjoyable, pleasent place to drink i would definatly recommend this pub to anyone.
no1biatch - 19 Sep 2006 11:10
I always have enjoyed reading the comments that people make about how I do my job and to be honest find them quiet amusing sometimes, People see some trouble in a pub and its the managers fault, they say no-one gets barred when they really don't know what they are talking about. Although there have been a few instances of trouble since I took over the Jolly Gardners Public House most my regular customers would agree that in that time not only has the beer standard reached its best but the pub is also alot cleaner and the customers who think they can cause trouble are better controled. I, like any other pub manager cannot make a guarentee to anyone that there will not be any trouble in the pub, thats impossible to do but in time The Jolly Gardners will be right back where it should be. To The person who wrote the comment that I can talk the talk but not walk the walk, all I would say to you is My reputation and Credentials in this trade speak for themselves.Gangesters don't run my pub either for your information, I do. Any complaints regarding drug taking in my pub should be made to the police, I am fully aware that I have totally eliminated the drug element in the pub and if the person who made that remark feels so strongly, please call the police, who I might add have recently commended me for the work I am doing to improve the pub. The pub is improving although I see that I have customers in the pub who want to make it seem anything but a pub thats is, This pub was going down hill for years and what people seem to forget is Rome was not built in a day and this pub will take a little time to get it back on theright track, However if you cannot understand this, then you know where the Vic is
Manager_Triple_Crown - 19 Sep 2006 10:43
Well done new staff and new owner going in right direction. Enjoyable days and evenings.
NikkiScott - 21 Jul 2006 14:23
This pub did go down hill for quite a while, but there is a new manager who is gradually getting the place back on it's feet and it's long overdue! The manager is friendly, approachable and always up for the craic, and the bar staff aren't far behind. There have been improvements all round and although this is still a work in progress, well worth a visit! See ya there!

Some people goes crazy when writing comments. Dont know why people write this kind of comments. It is very nice pub with nice staff. The food is very nice and Sundays pool competition is excellent

Excellent family venue. All grimlins gone. Excellent Bar Staff and good entertainment for whole family. Function hall brilliant had done party for valentine's day, everybody praised for food and service

Let them knock it down - it's always been a dive anyway.

Another stunning example of how to run a local landmark into the ground so planning limitations can be 'altered' to suit the vendor/buyer. Kings Arms, yet again a listed pub left derelict ......come on CAMRA!
Mum - 5 Nov 2005 04:57
Picture above needs changing as it doesn't look anything like this now. Agree with the last few comments. This pub is on its way out which is presumably what the owners want. There can't be any other explanation for the way it is run.
Jethro2 - 24 Aug 2005 23:21
This used to be a great local pub with very friendly bar staff and smilling faces until the new owners arrived turning it into a pizza place first now a curry house, they have no idea what a good pub and landlord should offer. the bar staff are rude and un welcoming. They state that their function room is for hire but let me down after I had booked it for my wedding recption just one month before the day and it cost a fortune, they offered compensation (meaning one free drink)Not as traditional as they think they should not have ruined a good pub.
