Ended up here at the end of a treasure hunt. The bar man, a friendly chap, asked if we were on the Monopoly crawl. It is a small pub and I would imagine that it does get busy at times, but being late on a Monday night it was quiet. I had some passable Green King IPA. The other ale was Speckled Hen. It is a bit of a trek to the toilet - a disadvantage for a man of my age. Prices are what you'd expect in the city, around 3.30 a pint.

I liked this pub. Quaint, warm and welcoming although a bit short on space when a crowd gets in there. But this was no.2 on the monopoly crawl just after spending some time at the elephant & castle, so a welcome change.

Reasonable for a station bar though we were sharing the area by the windows with a pigeon. The staff seemed to treat it like a pet. Two ales on - Pride and Youngs.... the Youngs was drinkable the pride wasn't. It is however the only bar open on a Saturday afternoon in the Fenchurch Street vicinity.

was in here the other saturday and they called last orders at 5pm why ????
oh well a little walk to the liberty didnt do me any harm , as ive said before not a bad little pub , although the carling does taste a bit iffy at times , but apart from that probably one of the best station pubs in london

same as romfordir i use this pub mainly when getting a train , but was in there the other week and some people were saying they had left the goose to come here as it was quieter , the beer in here has always been ok the staff friendly not a bad pub all in all

use this boozer on a regular basis ie whenever im waiting for a train home which isnt that often anymore , but gets pretty packed at times and sometimes the beer is a bit iffy but ok for a quick pint , wouldnt use all the time though

I only use this place when the Goose is shut (which it does on a Saturday and Sunday!) you can tell it's operated by the same company who do overpriced baguettes and microwaveable burgers especially when they try and do the McDonald's thing and ask "did you want any nuts or crisps?" In all fairness the beer's been good the times I've visited although it should sometimes come with nuts, sauce and a flake!

An old favourite of mine following three visits on Monopoly pub crawls. Its like the pub that time forgot, tucked away at the end of an empty platform with a small scattering of regulars and thats your lot.
Saturday morning visits are a must for the proffessional drinker.

This pub is fabulous. A real find. Tucked away in Fenchurch Street station, it is easy to miss. The eclectic mix of clientele adds to the unique atmosphere.

Fantastic boozer. Delightful staff and beautifully decorated throughout. Serve rare drinks like, lager. No-one will beleive you when you tell them you've been. A must visit venue. Difficult to find.

Nasty Nasty boozer - Last time I was in there the staff couldn't tell the difference between Lager and Bitter, couldn't manage to come to the same total cost for the same round twice and couldn't say please or thank you.
Definitely a last resort when the trains are delayed, especially as there are better pubs within spitting distance.
Rating it as a 1 instead of 0 only because the beer wasn't flat

The Guinness can't be that great if you can get in two in ten minutes. Great Guinness takes ten minutes per pint to serve.

THE premier station boozer! They do a great Guinness; you can normally pack in two in 10 minutes and still have time to spare for the 18:12 to Upminster
