Was in here recently for a quiz night. Good choice of beers including the locally brewed Windsor and Eton Guardsman which was very quaffable. Didn't try any of the food but the locals I spoke recommended it in particular the desserts. Staff were friendly and the service was good. Main bar area in the next room seemed quiet for a Friday evening which I thought was a bit surprising. Overall I would visit again.

Been here a few times, just when passing through. Cant help but think I need to find somewhere new to pop into when passing through.
Staff are placid at best, ale is over priced and it smelt a bit.

Not great.

Visited here again last Saturday Night from around 20:30, The place was Empty on a warm August Saturday Night. Barman seemed very uninterested in serving anyone and I had to wait around five minutes for him to finish his phone call in the back before he served me. London Pride was OK but still expensive (Guess this is why it is void of punters unlike the other pubs in the area). Think I will have to give this pub up and try the Vansittart Arms until such times there is a change.

Visited here last Saturday 7th May @ around 20:45 there was no more than eight people including my party of two. Decent enough Pint of london Pride. But way over the top on Price Not much change out of 8 for a pint of London pride and a Pint of Fosters. Sport showing on a Flat Screen TV but no sound and a Foreign game of Football. There are two other pubs within 100 yards the Mitre and the Vansittart Arms, who seem to be atttracting more clients so I guess there prices are more reasonable. Will give them a try next time. Low rating given for Price and lack of Atmoshere/Clients. Rating given for Beer quality alone.

My local pub has not got any special promotions or happy hour. It doesnt seem to want to keep the regulars happy so they leave for the Wetherspoons BUT the food is great in the back restaurant andthe pub still beats the Mitre and the Vansittart Arms for a relaxing drink.

The locals and bar staff are friendly too.

the cost of drink is way over the top that's why it's bloody empty 3 pint's for a tenner if your lucky, all the management care's about is how much food they sell from the Cafe out the back, there not worried about the punters in the pub just there for a drink all the pubs in this area are the same, that's why all the locals use the 2 Wetherspoons in Windsor good choice of beer and food menu
and between 4 and 5 pints for a tenner it's worth the trot so get some in the more you spend the more you save in the Spoons.

A lot more atmospheric than the Vanni ,and the London Pride was quaffable.Few punters in here ,lets hope this place can survive. Two bar arrangement and interior unchanged since the 60's ,the exterior fits well into the local street scene.Having crawled our way around Winsor ,this was the last stopping place, and with a wider selection of real ales and some from a micro (or two )this pub could easily make the GBG and pull in the ale drinkers in a town poorly served by the current real ale outlets.

After eating here it was like eating chinese your still hungry afterwards the meal i was served was so small even the size zeros out there would have passed out with starvation but the spirits here are good i see two of them in the corner but then again it may of been my hunger!

After reading the comments had to try my "local" pub. Well some of the comments are unfounded.
The food was fantastic.....!!
There was so much choice on drink, I didn't know where to start - hee hee hic
The staff were great (I went in on a Monday evening) the woman that served me was friendly, chatty and always seemed to be smiling!!
WORTH A VISIT!

The Bexley has a reputation for doing pretty good food.

I've eaten there and have to agree that the food is of a good standard.

Certainly has an older clientelle and my only criticism is that it always seems to be lacking an atmosphere.

A pleasant pub for an afternoon drink. Slightly older clientelle, but very nice atmosphere. I hear that the Sunday lunch is pretty good and they certainly have a large number of tables in the restaurant to the rear.

How is there a poor selection of spirits there are loads I should know I needed a little stool to reach them when I worked there. Also they get the largest bottled of JD.They must have run out that day that happens some time in a public house you know. Go back and take another look.

I worked in this pub for a while (Little Jenny) and I have to say I found the food fantastic and don't agree with "true north's comments at all." I think the staff in the kitchen and waiting staff work very well to provide excellent service. Atfer using the restaurant with my boyfriend and friends I got to try some of the meals and all of them were great. Sunday lunch was my favourite you have a choice of different meats and mountains of veg and potatoes with a high standard of quality and quantity. Well done Ann Colin and Simon. Also all the other kitchen/waiting staff.
