Its lucky for you that you have to hide behind a dozen user names because if my mates found out that you called them chavs .......

The last poster typed that this Estate pub might be the best in Surrey!

Best maybe for chavs and tattoos.

The Limes is the best pub in Merstham and possibly even Surrey..
Great staff and clientele and a unique friendly atmosphere.

The Limes is a large estate style pub in the middle of a residential area and is a proper locals pub.

As you enter from the car park area there’s a long wooden bar immediately in front of you. 2 ales on the hand pumps which were Shepherd & Neame Spitfire and Greene King IPA. Again this seems like another pub where lager is king!

Pool table and dart board to the right of the bar as well as a few television’s dotted about.

Loads of seating and stools lined up at the bar but on this visit the pub was pretty empty thought I’m sure to have this many stools the pub must get busy at some stage

A decent enough estate pub with adequately kept ales and very close to the football ground. Probably the best of the 3 I visited in one evening in Merstham.

I wonder how many houses you could get on the site of the Limes?

Not one but two bar billiards tables. Great atmosphere pub, friendly landlord and landlady, close-knit band of regulars. Dearest pub for miles though.

Went in at lunch-time to find no food served! Uncle Festus and Cleetus propping up the bar found it amusing tho. Walked out without ordering when I heard the banjo and fiddle start.

Good pub to visit if you want to end it all, lots of locals covered in dust who grunt at each other when a stranger walks in. Nice 70's decor and best take some antibiotics before using the gents.

Pub for the locals. Not a great deal to attract people to go there other than the prospect of other locals. friendly enough, with a usual beer range and sport on tv, but lacking in atmosphere.
