used to be busy with good atmosphere but sadly different now. Staff are ok hardly any customers thou!!

Brill nite out love brannigans especially on a sunday nite every1 is friendly beers cheap 2 thats the main thing, toilets r always clean.
go on a sunday nite �2 to get in and its not always packed so u can have room 4 dancing

Jesus Christ!!! I'd rather eat scissors than venture into this MBNA sponsored shithole ever again. The home of MFM for some reason. I'd like to say run away but yer only gonna end up in Mansion House which is just as bad but at twice the price. Buy some cans, go round to your mate's and have a brilliant time. I guarantee anyone with at least half a brain cell will want to commit suicide after visiting.

Go in there and your life expectancy halves. However, if you like the place that much, then, for the progress of humanity, this is a very welcome side-effect. It's where the (self-deluding) "beautiful people" go to vogue the night away in their inimitable vacuous way, and where neanderthal men (usually from the nearby Welsh hill-villages) go to give their court-couture its weekly airing, and stare at the "beautiful people", invariably resulting in a fist fight and a spell in the Countess of Chester A&E dept. I just prey for the day that these people (and the door staff, for that matter) discover fire, language and the endless possibilities of an opposable thumb. My advice? EMMIGRATE TO RWANDA RATHER THAN SPEND A NIGHT IN THIS HELL-HOLE.

There are much better places to spend your money, even in Chester. Typical, over-priced andcommercial. Probably agree with the Rosie's comment though. The name says it all.

Im not too sure about Brannighans. Id say it was probably the roughest place to drink. Load crash music, common tarts, and not enuff dance space.
Plus there was a stabbing outside there last year :s

Brannigans is the young Party bar of Chester, if you want a lively night with lots of drink, music and one of only a few late bars in the city, then this is for you. Yet to have a bad night night there, although definitely not my first choice for a night in Chester but still miles ahead of the awful Rosie's on Northgate street (recently succesfully prosecuted by trading standards for watering down the beer) try living room for a truly good night out, live music, decent crowd, excellent selection of booze and a great atmosphere.

Total party venue with a DJ every night and always full of Hen Parties living it up!! Lots of big name LIVE appearances along with tribute & cover bands. Door charge on most nights of the week but always FREE before 10.00pm
