Oh boy, give this one a wide berth. On the outside of the building it advertises "real ales": there were none on tap. We asked for some red wine; they had no red wine. We asked for a G & T with ice: they had no ice (or lemon). We resorted to halves of lager: one arrived with a hair nestled in the creamy head. Geez. This place won't last long if it continues in the same vein.

decent enough boozer, agree with smorgasbord, landlords a luvly bloke, beers fine the bars nice but yea the outside areas a bit of a mess cud be a lovely courtyard n smokin area. does seem to lack atmosphere tho

A pub with no atmosphere and a strange chap who stands at the end of the bar playing with his phone apparently he works there....

Used to be my local when I lived on King Street with a friend. Regularly there during the week and the landlord's a friendly, approachable guy who runs a good little pub with a range of chilled lager. The food's good too, the staff are friendly and attractive (never does any harm) and, bar the odd boisterous suited chap, you could do far worse in the centre of Norwich.
Downsides? An over-looked and under-developed outside seating area that, with a bit of vision and money, could become a real asset.

Smart and elegant looking bar with lots of comfortable seating for a relaxed feel with light easy listening music, good menu with a strong choice for both meat and vegetarian eaters. Newly refurnished garden Terrance, which is a super sun trap for those hot days and nights. Good bar selection from lager to wine with staff actually know what wine is good. All round Excellent pub.
