Nice traditional pub which is very well run but spoilt by riff raff and kids running about everywhere even late in the evenings

Excellent pub Garden to take the kids to on a summers afternnon, thank goodness some decent pubs still survive in the area.

A busy pub for mostly the middle-aged, non-complaining, non-judgmental, accept what you get with a stiff upper lip type. A wysiwyg pub except that it claims to be a free house which technically may be true but, in reality, is tied. The usual lagers and and a dreary selection of ales: Doom Bar, Pride and Horriblegoblin: an opportunity missed. "Man is born free and everywhere he is in chains".

Very welcoming, though looking a bit run down. Bombadier and one of the nicest pints of Rev James I've had for a while was available. Big garden at the back. I'll be coming back to try the Sunday roast.

White Hart is my local and this is a no frills honest pub, its nice to have carpet in a pub. Always good selection of beers, staff are helpful and cracking jukebox. I am always intrigued to see if someone will update the Golf Society boards on the wall.

great pub, great staff, great food and Love getting beer in the glasses straight out of the freezer. Cant really say a bad word about this place. Wish they had that interactive game on again though!!! 9/10

This is by far the best pub in the world, and what ever happened to that fantastic DJ they used to have down there? :-)

I watched the Rugby World Cup Final of 2003 in this pub and it was odd because there was not an Aussie in sight, not even behind the bar. Having not been in there for five years, it was like I had never been away. The place was exactly the same, except for the lack of smoke in the air. The bar staff on the night showed some knowledge of how to keep real ale (a novelty in these days of pubs with no real ale at all) and the atmosphere was pleasant enough. I would not recommend this over the Cambridge or Albert, but it is considerably better than the Nelson, but then again, that is not difficult. I am surprised that they have not sold off the massive beer garden to build flats or the like, especially as it would not have had the most use during this rather wet summer.

As a new resident to the area I found this pub very warm and welcoming, the bar staff were friendly and talkative that is until England lost the Rugby, since then the staff have changed and the new staff are unfriendly unheplfull rude and don't tollorate anyone other than white working class!!!
There is still one reason to go there and that is a chap called Dickie, he was the only reason I went back to the pub after being discriminated against for being a foreigner as he is the last remaining friendly face left in the pub.
My advice to you is if you are not born and bred within 1 mile from the pub don't bother, go to the Admiral Nelson, the staff are friendly and they accept people from all over the world without discrimination.

I love this pub - the selection of beer is always great, which changes regularly.
The garden is lovely, especially in the summer! It is kept nicley.
Inside is very welcoming, and the staff are lovely!
I have lived in many different places, and this pub is, by far, the best local that I have had.
My friends and I go to The White Hart every Monday night after our theatre rehearsal and the landlady and supervisor ALWAYS spare time for a friendly chat. The other staff are friendly enough, too!
I give this pub 20/10!

This Pub HAS to have the most unfriendly, disinterested landlady ( when i was last in there anyway) in the history of publicans and the bar staff are not much better, you wait ages to get served, and still they actually ignore you!!
I hate the Nelson but i would rather drink in there where it is full of Chavs, at least you get served!!!.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon, randomly picked after spotting it as we walked to the nearby stadium. Welcome was friendly enough, although one or two characters dotted around the bar looked a little unsavoury at first. Decent enough beer, with a rare-for-the-area Robinsons beer from Manchester on tap. Huge garden, but with only a few tables, almost felt like you were sitting in the middle of a field. Not a bad stop-off if you're only visiting the area briefly.

This pub has by far the best beer garden around the whitton and hounslow area a good selection of lagers and the ale is always top notch.
One thing which i love about this place is that they keep there pint glasses in the freezer so beers are always ice cold.
The barmaids are polite and yes they wear short tops etc but im male so thats good.
Disappointed1983 must have walked in on a bad day cos yes you sometimes get a group of idiots from the nelson go down but when they do there harmless they just come across as intimidating.
Overall its a pretty good pub.
Actually i might pop down there later to see the barmaid!!!

Used to really like this pub, but now the bar staff are rude as are the locals. Its full of chavs with nothing better to do.
The manageress/supervisor dresses like a complete tart in low cut tops and dresses that are not suitable for working in, and then talks to you with such an attitude that my friend and i considered walking out.
Redeeming feature is that its not the Nelson and has quite a nice beer garden.

The problem with Whitton is that there isn't enough decent competition so as a rule what few pubs there are don't seem to try very hard.
Of them all though this is my favourite, friendly enough and the Beer-garden's nice enough (although a tad sparse) in the Summer.
Only one thing has put me off to be honest and it's not the pubs fault...
Don't, under any circumstance, go in the garden with a toddler. Within 10 minutes you will be descended upon by other older children - bored out of their minds and looking for a distraction because their parents have switched off and are quite happy for complete strangers (aka you) to provide a free child-care service.
This has happened twice now on different days with different kids/adults.
The pub itself though? No complaints at all.

Not too bad inside if you like old man pubs. But the beer garden is fantastic. On a Saturday they'll pump some great music out there in the sun. Friendly atmosphere.

Best pub in Whitton by far. Is small and sometimes very smoky inside. However, has a massive beer garden. OK selection of beers, very friendly barstaff, jukebox is second to none.

This is pub a little run down inside, but has possibly the largest beer garden in the world. The beers are good and the service usually friendly. Tops for drinking outside in the summer sun.
