Popped in mid-week early evening. The pub was moderately well fitted out but appeared to require a little more TLC. Service was slow, only two cask beers were available and after managing to get served, the one ale ran out, only Wychwood Hobgoblin left. No effort was made during our visit to put any more ales on. The pub appeared to be doing a moderately brisk trade. It was noticable however that quite a few strangers called in, had a look round, were unimpressed and left. Visited toilets just before leaving, they stank!
This could be a decent pub in an area of poor to average boozers if they only tried harder. I'm sure that the management could improve their offer and reap the rewards of an improved income.

We visited at about 7pm on a weekday evening. The pub and its staff were welcoming, and there was a reasonable crowd, but seats still available. Most appeared to be (like us) visitors to the area rather than regulars.

Drinks were pretty standard, and food looked uninspired ("in a basket" style). The pub itself was attractive.

Large chainish pub next to West Brompton station owned by Taylor Walker.

5 pumps on the bar offering Pride, Doombar and Seafarers yesterday. 3.40 a pint. The quality was fine. Food menu looked to be pretty standard pub grub but the prices were reasonable.

Large garden out the back and seating at the front.

One of the few proper pubs left within walking distance of Stamford bridge. If anyone knows anymore worth visiting, let me know. 4 hand pumps and 3 beers on when I got to the bar - bombardier, old speckled hen and London pride (pretty uninsipring), only OSH was still on by the time I got served and that ran out by the time I'd drank my pint. Ok it was a football night but I'd expect better

This is a nice pub that was serving up some very nice Doombar on my recent visit. Old Speckled Hen and Pride were also available along with some standard lagers and Staropramen. The barman was very nice and greeted me when I walked in and said goodbye when I left. As mentioned before, there is a very nice beer garden out the back and there is also some covered seating out the front on the main road.

This place is a little to food orientated for my liking, but that is my only gripe and I would gladly return.
