Dropped in purely while passing and found this a cosy, friendly and well-run pub. Beer wasn't bad either. If all pubs were like this, then God knows how many it is wouldn't have closed in the last year. Campanologist - 13 Jan 2013 23:32
This is how a pub should be. Dozing dogs. A real fire. Customer burble not pumping 'music'. Attentive service. Lights just right and not too bright. Friday evenings you may well have to stand up for a while but after a bit you won't notice because of the excellent atmosphere. beer_dreamer - 8 Oct 2012 17:52
Great place. Great beer. Great host. bestbarnone - 27 Aug 2012 19:04
Had Sunday lunch here yesterday and it was certainly a very pleasant experience. Good beer, good service and good, well priced food all taking place in a traditional pub environment. Exactly what a pub should be and well worth a visit. straightatthewall - 23 Jul 2012 13:35
Teddington has seventeen pubs and not all of them are wonderful but this one is. A few minutes' walk from the railway station and just outside the town centre, The Adelaide is a traditional but classy pub. The menu is wide and varied and the pub excels in the grub stakes but it's not food-led with four Shepherd Neam cask ales on draught as well as bottled beer, a wide selection of wines etc. They even serve crisps in a bowl! Most recommended. JDchaser - 15 Jul 2012 11:56
