Another unnumbered Victoria St. establishment which I couldn't immediately locate, nearest in external appearance I could find was named ARTISAN and is located around the upper part of Victoria St. numbered at or about #28. An earlier comment of 13/7/2004 tends to confirm this although Manx Telcom has itself moved from its former address. Externally seems decorous, not yet visited.

Serve food all day from when they open until 9 I think it is, the prices can be a little steep but it has such a great chilled out atmosphere. They also have their own cocktail menu with such some rather crazy concoctions and they're all a tenner a jug of a sat night which is a bit of a bargain! Overall I really do like this place, I think it's weakness can be the prices, they're not overly bad just be willing to pay a little extra and you'll have a cracking night in there.

I was a regular in the place when I worked on the Island. Very clean and great staff who always made me feel welcome. Food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Best place for a drink in Douglas. Its more of a lounge bar than a pub, but for me thats a good thing. The decor is minimilist modern and the beer, wine and food are all excellent. Staff when we went were really friendly and helpful.

Dunno what you beerglassmen have against the place or the secretaries.
The beer and prices are right, the wedges with cheese/bacon and creme fraiche are cheaper than Bar George and this is just the place and ambiance to watch soccer or rugger as we did last Sat afternoon.
Great stop if you don't have a complex.
