A terrific, traditional gem of a pub. I always look forward to a visit here, when i'm working locally in the area. Small, but very cosy, with good local gravity ales which are always worth a try.

A customer saying "Two pints when your ready please" would certainly PISS ME OFF!! I fear its a case of "TWO PINTS WHEN I CAN GET TO YA".....Wait your turn!!!

Bit disappointed with this place. Beer and service a bit mediocre. Arrived too late for food. Fairly nice looking place though.

It's still open and as good as ever. Palmers and Otter both excellent today and nobody's saying anything about possible sale. Let's hope that's history!
