Lovely pub and very friendly. My only criticism is that the ale is too warm and sometimes lifeless. It could be the Hall & Woodhouse brewery at fault but I have had better Badger elsewhere.

It's had its ups and downs but now is great , new chef , amazing good in the week and also roasts and has a good cosy atmosphere ,.
Definatley try the polish apple cake , it's scrumptious!

Used to be my favourite pub in brighton, however for the last two years has been run badly. With no atmosphere and bad sunday lunches - As a local resident I retry the pub every couple of months to see if things have improved. Today -Sunday lunch - the music was way above volume 11 - which meant me and my friends could not hear each other. The meal was sooooooooo salty I still feel sick.

Nice place, good atmosphere. Badgers selection but the Tanglefoot was off!. Way too expensive for a regular option

Friend of mine took me here for a beer and banter whilst in Brighton for a few days. Nice friendly pub with a fantastic bar maid/wench called Robbie, who has a wonderful smile and a sense of humour. I hope we will meet again Robbie. Would return for more jovolities and a little libation and food.
