Fullers pub just outside Aylesbury. It seems to be owned by some Thai people and Thai food is served. It smelt delicious. Ales were Pride, HSB & ESB. There are 3 tables outside in the car park. The place felt a bit more like a restaurant than a pub. But if you're looking for a meal, I would give it a try.

Fantastic little pub, well worth a visit!

Changed hands in April 2012. The beer - normally London Pride and HSB - is as well-kept and served as you will find anywhere. Picking up local trade again after a bit of a dip, it has a friendly and inviting vibe, both from its denizens and the barstaff, who are normally the landlady and landlord, if he's not chained to the kitchen. The menu is at the top end of proper pub food. The steak and ale pie in particular is outstanding. The rest of the menu is equally good, depending on what the landlord/cook is making, normally about five choices, plus a soss menu. Often busy between 5 and 7 when local tradespeople finish work, then picking up again for evening food and evening drinkers. Network sporting events can attract a large and good-naturedly rowdy collection of locals. No Sky sports. Hooray! Runs a quiz on Wednesdays, sparsely attended by a few die-hards, apparently waiting for the next revival, or not having noticed their general demise. Often has extremely weird rounds.

The 'stand-out' pub in Bierton, bright and airy (whatever that means) with a good range of Fullers beers - a little pricey as usual for Fullers pubs in Bucks.

I travel past this pub almost on a daily basis and have been tempted by the signs "Home Cooked Food" and other notices praising their fayre. So early one Wednesday I went in. Imagine my delight when I saw one of my favourite Fullers Beers on draught. Imagine my disappointment when I was told it was off, so I ordered another beer only to be told thats off too, sorry! Feeling disgruntled I decided to eat so was shown the menu, I decided to have HomeMade Shepherds Pie, after waiting for 10-15mins I was told that was off too! Sorry! So I ordered a pie, after 20 mins a soggy pie floating in gravy turned up with some tepid veg along with some pathetic excuse that the chef wasn't there tonight. I walked out for good. Shame as it could have tremendous potential.
