| The Inn at Ness is a large, spacious open plan pub (1930s?) that is largely given over to a rather good Italian restaurant although there is still a drinking-only area in one of the bays. Thwaites ales were in decent condition (fine for drinking with a meal) and cost a very reasonable £2.80. Very popular place this evening. paul_d102 - 15 Nov 2014 22:50 |

| Reply to simontutton*** I'm one of the cooks at The Wheatsheaf and i can asure you that all of our meals are homemade on the premises with out use of 'Microwaves', we have very high volumes of custom through our doors every single day, and we may run out of some products, as in many pubs will be the same, and we have 8 Daniel Thwaites UK "Catering Pub of the Year" awards to show for it, I'm sure if you came back again u will not be dissapointed darren_1 - 14 Aug 2009 15:57 |
| A bit too clean (or not if you like that kind of thing!) Doesn't have a good beer selection and the meals are very "sorry we haven't got any of that one left" - i.e. we're suspecting heavy use of the microwave.
