Poor pints, poor selection, full of the 'crowd' Can't think of a good thing to say really. OldhamSheridan - 13 Mar 2011 10:35
My goodness..beautiful view...BUT....for the evening, if your not a size 6 -8 lady, (lightely chosen word lol) with skirts non exsistant, and your under 25...give this place a miss.....I have been a dancer, been in clubs all over the world..but never ever have I seen a place that is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY full of such....as mentioned below..look at me tossers lol. If your a guy wantng to pull a typical teen in a short skirt have fun...but for the ladies, with class and for the men who have lovely ladies this place is not for you.....have fun x stormrainbow - 4 Sep 2010 22:24
I wouldn't normally touch a Pitcher & Piano with a bargepole, but lunch had been arranged here and finding an alternative was not really an option. The food was better than I was expecting (especially given that we were quite a large party), and I suppose that the keg Pedigree was just about OK on an unusually warm September day. However, this place does have a fantastic location on the Quayside opposite the iconic Baltic Mill and Sage on the Gateshead bank of the Tyne. The organiser also ensured that we got there early to see the regular midday opening of the dramatic millenium footbridge. I shouldn't really rate this higher than a '4', but it would be churlish not to give it another point or two just for being where it is. rpadam - 12 Sep 2009 10:48
Never had any time for this place. Ok good location but thats about it. Feels really dated now too, stinks of the 90s. Expensive and full of 'look at me' tossers! scoreboard1 - 29 Jul 2009 10:02
