Noisy Greene King pub in Bury St Edmunds. They were showing live football during our visit. Some of the language of the patrons was appalling. Nice drinking environment, noise and language apart. But the range was restricted to GK - Abbot, IPA, Gangly Ghoul & Tequila Mocking Bird, apart from a guest from Purple Moose - Madog's Ale. Passable.

I hadn't been in this pub for about 5 years but was pleasantly surprised when I ventured in today. The staff were very pleasant and they had 5 cask beers on. It was very busy for a lunchtime but I was served very quickly and had 2 pints of Golden Sheep. I'd certainly pop back here again for a pint or two in the near future.

yes Toolster, this pub is now solely in the hands of Greene 'couldn't give a f*** about tenants' King, so the final nail in the coffin has been drilled home. RIP Happy Hour.

Has this place changed hands?(I knew something was up when I saw Korky in the Grapes).....NO MORE HAPPY HOURS!!!(the only redeeming feature about this palce of late)...and,to make things worse....a really bloody rude old gal behind the bar.........i get the feeling I won't be setting foot in here anymore.
Another one bites the dust.................
