This is a popular eating place, the beers seems to be almost incidental. Looking at other review sites, they seem to be having a few consistency problems with their food recently, but the beers when we visited for their recent beer festival was excellent and the manager very pleasant too. He''s been there since November 2016 so earlier reviews about service, staff etc. probably aren''t too relevant.

Expensive but decent enough family stop.
You get a lot of students with their parents at the start and end of terms/years.
Most Grannies would be happy to eat here.
This is a rebuild. The original Mill was largely where the Car Park is now.

Excellent pint of Trelawny had in this large pub, decorated in farmhouse style. A bit corporate, yes with obligatory pop playing but won over by the fantastic views of the weir. Must be a stunning spot outside in summer. Worth the 10 mins walk from town or St David's.

Have been in a few times recently drawn by the well-kept St.Austell beers including 2-60 pint Dartmoor Ale. Great to drink on a summers day right by the weir watching the salmon ("the" singular, there is only one, he's call Ken) leap.

Totally overated overpriced pub with poor service.
The price we paid for our meal should have had table service.
A total scandal and rip off 2/10!
