Slightly out of town, but the "super chef" makes it easily worth while. Very happy sipping good beer in the window seat.

Interesting and satisfying.‎‎

Innovative young chef puts some of the established eating places in Swanage to shame. Easily the the most interesting menus. Very well cooked, and real portions for real people, at competitive prices. Very friendly staff.

5 out of 5 stars.

Away from the town centre but well worth the walk along the sea front.
Nice pint of Bath Ales Gem.
Friendly staff who despite being busy, had time for friendly banter.
Menu/Food looked good although we didn't actually sample having already eaten.

My father-in-law and I spent a few pleasant hours over a few days in this pub where we happily drank the Forty-niner, which we both found very well kept and particularly tasty. The bar staff were very friendly and joined in our varied conversation topics when they weren't serving. We also decided to eat in the pub on our last night and we weren't disappointed. The food was good quality and good value.
Although the pub is in New Swanage, near the North beach, it is well worth a visit and if we are ever back in the area we'll definitely be going there again.

I had the privilage to play this venue at the Swanage Blues Festival last weekend & must say We had a warm & friendly welcome from the staff, landlady & the locals. There were 12 friends that followed us down we all had a fantastic meal & the beer was well kept,I hope we get invited to play here again. Well worth a visit
