I don't mind a gastropub but it is a pleasure to come across a no nonsense boozer with uncomplicated but hearty food amid England's countryside, especially when the village is as nice a one as this. A brie and bacon baguette was gratefully received and the surroundings are traditional. It's also walkable from Didcot should the weather be fine.

The Fleur De Lys is well worth a trip out from Wallingford where i am based...the Home cooked food is very nice, reasonably priced, good sized portions and great menu to choose from. Plus of course the Beers are superb and well looked after. The Landlord has really made this Pub into one to keep coming back to with a large range of activites planned..including a Summer Fleur-Fest i believe.

Stll a very good traditional pub with a lovely landlady.

Pretty traditional Oxfordshire pub serving standard pub food. 3 or 4 cask beers on, and the choice was decent enough recently: from memory they had Olde Trip, a Hook Norton beer and Morland. Well worth leaving nearby Didcot for this place, and it's walkable from the town in the summer.

Great pub, friendly staff....good food, beer, and company. Recently have been having live music which i happened upon by accident, but was a thoughally enjoyable night..
