Went in here with my Father as part of a walk around Hambledon and the surrounding area. As my Dad is an avid cricket fan, he loved the old cricketing ephemera dotted around the pub, and the fact that the birthplace of modern cricket was across the road. As a Fullers pub, it had the usual suspects in London Pride, HSB, and Seafairers etc, but they did have some cards on the table showing Fullers seasonal autumn beers that were coming to the pub. Only complaint was the price. Two pints were £7.80! I wasn't bowled over by that!

Good jazz on the second Wednesday of the month from Harry Strutters Quartet.
A welcoming atmosphere, but you have to eat if you want to be in the same room as the musicians.

An excellent pub. Stunning views. Gorgeous food, all home made by the chef. Landlord a really great guy. One of my all-time faves.
