Sandwiched between the ring road, the M4, and sainsburys distribution warehouse, this pub doesnt have the best location. But the food and drink are far better than many of the other local offerings (e.g. the awful Willy Wicket).

very nice roadside Marstons pub which was busy for a fri lunchtime with a varied clientele from local business parks, families and motorists. Its certainly a food led pub although three ales were available from under the marstons umbrella(pedigree//banks's bitter/Wychwood hobgoblin)i opted for the latter @3.05pint, 7/10

Better than most of the souless chain pubs in the area but not as good as some of the country pubs a mile or so away.

Very little choice of real ales on this visit (Pedigree or Brakspear) but the Pedigree was in good condition.

Good choice of pub-standard food and well-cooked and presented.

Nice outdoor area if a little noisy due to close proximity to A4174 ring road.

Lovely picteresque country pub - shame they built a huge warehouse next to it. Had some fantastic meals there - were treated superbly by staff when one meal out of 100 didn't come up to scratch. Good selection of real ales, lovely atmosphere. More competition nowadays. Overall - very good.
