| Well, I've tried the salt beef lunch. The beef was good, the gravy possibly the richest I've ever had, but then we come to, what I assume, were the vegetables. Not sure I have the vocabulary to describe them. How many days had they been cooking? Is it possible something can be so bad as to be good? A conundrum indeed. Anyway still an amazingly cosy pub.
