Exactly the kind of characterful pub you would expect to find in Bath. As is so often the case, the best pubs a city centre has to offer are to be found in its backstreets. Here is a good example. Small but perfectly formed with very nice beer. Recommended. strangetorpor - 15 May 2013 16:28
Portrayed as the smallest bar in Bath and having visited I tend to agree, it really is a tiny pub with just 6 tables that hold seating for 2 dozen people max standing room doesn't offer much more space. 5 pumps offering 3 local ales on my visit, the pint from Abbey Ales was good. There is an upstairs dining room and downstairs toilet neither visited by me so I cannot comment as to the layout A large Abbey Ales mirror hangs on the left hand wall as you enter the pub and there are also amazing stain glass windows looking out to the front of the pub. lezford - 25 Feb 2013 13:04
Characterful, tiny, period pub supplying the local brews. It's what you come to Bath to find. Basic simple pub grub too. eddybeer - 6 Feb 2013 23:03
i love this pub, nestled in the central alleys of bath, this tiny pub is a lovely, old fashioned, authentic british pub. great beers from the local abbey ales brewery and various lagers. great service. always be back when in bath CHELSEA_on_tour - 25 Jul 2012 15:35
Visited on a Sunday lunchtime, was busy but it's a small pub so not difficult! And the bar staff were fairly attentive. Beer was good, food average although the description on the menu was not mirrored by what was on the plate! However the only downside was the continuous playing of Whitney HOuston tribute music!!! Defo worth visiting the pub though. ElChuddy - 13 Feb 2012 14:44
