| Improved a lot since I was last here. Nice spot on the village green with plenty of shady seating outside at both front and back. Food good if slightly pricey, they don't do sarnies or jacket spuds on Sundays as there's a roast menu instead. Their ploughmans are very nice. | Have been visiting the Red Lion for many years and it has changed hands a few times. The current landlady Debby has been there for a few years and the pub is now everything it always promised to be. The food is gorgeous and the beer is perfect every time, with a good choice of real ales. Can't say much about the wine list as I'm a beer drinker but my wife says the choice of wines by the glass is extensive and well priced. The daily food specials always have a treat on and if there is nothing there for you the favourites and regular menu are consistently good and varied.
