| Somewhere to go and watch sky sports with a lager. A pretty indifferent modernised place with laminate floors, pool table etc. They had ales on but no one was daring to try them. | There�s nothing wrong with this pub if you�re after a game of pool or darts or want to watch the big match as there are plasma screens and a projector for the showing of Sky Sports. The d�cor is a little bland and the only ale offering of Greene King IPA was off during my visit, but the barmaid was very friendly and my pint of Guinness was spot on. | So the Alliance? My Rating? No visibly obvious price list. lose 5 points out of 10. Drab = less 1 point Lack of choice of real ales = less 2 points I've got nothing to say that would recommend this pub at all. Stay well away I say. | quite an old school boozer, and a local's pub, but perfectly alright and perfectly friendly crowd. i can only speak from personal experience, but never been any hint of racism in the times i've been in there. mps77 - 4 Mar 2008 11:04 |
